DiSSCo-IT recognizes the importance of protecting the information collected from users in the operation of its services, and takes reasonable steps to maintain the security, integrity and privacy of any information in accordance with the EU GDPR which has taken effect on May 25th, 2018.

DiSSCo-IT is committed to disseminate scientific information and provide the user community with on-line services through the DiSSCo-IT portal. To achieve the above task, navigational and transactional information on users’ client (e.g., IP address, browser type, referral, etc.) are collected through suitable software in the form of anonymous, aggregate usage statistics. Such information is collected in forms that do not reveal users’ information, with the unique goal of computation of usage statistics for the portal contents and improve the public use of the website and services. No personal information of any kind is collected nor maintained.
